She currently serves as a Transition Specialist, where she supports students in developing the academic, social, and independent living skills needed for success beyond the classroom.
Leighanne holds a Bachelor's of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies with a focus on Special Education and a Master’s of Science in Educational Psychology with a focus on Learning and Development, equipping her with both the practical and theoretical knowledge to support students with diverse learning needs. Her approach is student-centered, focusing on building confidence, independence, and real-world readiness.
She is passionate about empowering students with special needs to reach their full potential and works closely with families to ensure meaningful progress both in school and in everyday life.
